Samra Turajlic
Samra Turajlic is a Consultant Medical Oncologist on the Skin and Urology Units at the Royal Marsden. She is also an independent Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute where she leads the Cancer Dynamics Laboratory.
Dr Turajlic is the Chief Investigator of translational studies into melanoma and kidney cancer (TRACERx), and her research goal is to develop an evolutionary understanding of cancer for patient benefit.

Santiago Zelenay
Santiago Zelenay is a Senior Group Leader at CRUK Manchester Institute where he leads the Cancer Inflammation and Immunity Laboratory. His group focuses on understanding the underlying mechanisms that mediate cancer-inhibitory versus tumour-promoting inflammation in order to design new therapies for cancer patients.

Maria Rescigno
Maria Rescigno is full professor and vice rector for Research at Humanitas University, as well deputy scientific director and group leader at Humanitas Research Hospital, in Milan, where she leads the Immunology Program and the Mucosal Immunology and Microbiota Lab.
Professor Rescigno is the Chair of the EMBO Council and the EMBO Keynote Lecturer at the 18th IPSCC.

Sylvain Delaunay
Sylvain joined the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute as a Junior Group Leader in January 2025, where he established the RNA Dynamics in Cancer group. His group focuses on the characterisation of the mechanisms by which diet influences the dynamics of RNA to drive cell state transition in the tumour.

Caroline Dive
Caroline is Interim Director of the CRUK Manchester Institute and Director of the National Biomarker Centre, with research spanning tumour biology, biomarker discovery and preclinical pharmacology alongside regulated laboratories for biomarker assay validation and qualification within clinical trials to Good Clinical Practice standards supporting clinical decision-making.
